From Betsy Crossley:
Brentwood Friends,
Early Voting for the Brentwood Election begins today.
While I have been out of “politics” for six years, I have not stopped caring about the wellbeing of our community. Today, I feel that I must remind each of us about our rights and responsibility to vote.
There have been several questionable actions by some members of the current Brentwood City Commission concerning allocations of our tax dollars. The future of our community depends on leaders who respect the voices of their citizens.
Sitting Commissioners Anne Dunn, Nelson Andrews, and Rhea Little have all supported a referendum before allocating millions of dollars on a specific project that may serve so few residents. If you are unaware of recent events, please read the attached letter/link from Commissioners Dunn and Andrews, so that you can better understand why we must take a stand.

If you have always voted in Brentwood Elections, or may have never taken the opportunity to vote, I ask that each of you seriously consider this information and join me, and those many others who are concerned, in voting for Rhea Little, Kim Smithson Gawrys, and Janet Donahue.
I also ask that you forward this information to friends and family living in Brentwood.
Please support those who would protect Brentwood, allowing you and your family to decide the way we spend tax dollars, rather than those who would deny you a voice. We cannot afford to let this moment pass without our action.
Thank you.
Betsy Crossley, former Brentwood Mayor
